Description
Movsar Evloev is a prominent Russian mixed martial artist of Ingush descent, competing in the featherweight division of the UFC. From an early age, he showed an interest in martial arts, inspired by his father, a master of sports in boxing. In his youth, Evloev trained in boxing, sambo, and pankration, but chose Greco-Roman wrestling as his primary focus, achieving the rank of candidate master of sports.
Evloev holds two degrees: in IT and law. His professional career began in 2014 at the M-1 Challenge 53 tournament, where he defeated Jianwei He. In 2017, he won the interim M-1 bantamweight title and successfully defended it several times.
In March 2019, Movsar signed with the UFC and made his debut in April of that year, defeating Seng Woo Choi. Since then, he has earned numerous significant victories, including triumphs over Diego Lopez and Aljamain Sterling. In July 2025, Evloev climbed to the number one spot in the UFC featherweight rankings.
His fighting style combines Greco-Roman wrestling, grappling, boxing, and combat sambo. Evloev's last fight took place on March 21, 2026, at UFC Fight Night 270 in London, where he defeated Lerone Murphy.
