BelgradeBelgrade Arena

Description

The Belgrade Arena is a venue with a unique history. Its construction began in 1991, but wars and economic upheaval in Yugoslavia forced the project to be put on hold. Work resumed in 1995 in preparation for the World Table Tennis Championships, and the arena's full opening took place only in 2004.

Today, the Belgrade Arena is the largest indoor sports and concert complex in Serbia. Six floors, 48,000 square meters of floor space, 18,386 seats, 70 VIP boxes, and approximately 800 parking spaces form a world-class infrastructure. Thanks to the hall's transformation system, its capacity varies from 2,000 to 20,000 people.

Over the years, the arena has hosted major world events: Eurovision 2008, the 2009 Summer Universiade, the Davis Cup tennis finals (2010, 2013), two Euroleague basketball finals, as well as European Championships in various sports. Between 600,000 and 800,000 spectators visit the venue annually.

In addition to the sports program, the arena regularly hosts concerts by top European and world performers. Modern equipment ensures high-quality sound and impressive visual effects. The arena is located in New Belgrade and is easily accessible by public transport.
